Jerard "Mr. Pocket" Snell

 

Jerard, born in Newark New Jersey, at an early age, then moved with his family to Plainfield, New Jersey.   Jerard began sharing his gift with the world as a two-year-old toddler, amazing audiences with his parent’s band 20th Century Movement. 

 

 In 1990’s Jerard began playing with LT Connection, Cashmere, Lynette Jenkins’ Jazz Trio, Chops The Band and Cliff Perkins & The Soul Generation.  He also toured with the stage play “The Streets Can’t Have My Son.” 

 

In the 2000’s Jerard performed with a variety of incredible artists from different genres of music such as Gloria Gaynor, Dionne Farris, Luisito Quintero, Raul Midon,  Anane Vega, Raheem DeVaughn, Glen Jones, Dorothy Norwood, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, Louie Vega/Vega Records, Maw Records, Kenny Dope/KayDee Records and Josh Milan/Honeycomb Records. 

 

Jerard has also appeared at many prestigious venues, with one of his career highlights being performing at Super Bowl XLI Cirque de Soleil’s pre-game performance (ONE DREAM, Elements of Life).  Jerard arranged ONE DREAM’s drums and percussion along with Luisito Quintero & Louie Vega.  His most recent tour was with Louie Vega & Elements of Life.

 

Jerard’s continued mission through his musical experiences is spreading love and inspiring others to know that they, too, can survive and thrive after a major medical health crisis.
