​About Bill

​​

William B. Smith, Jr. brings more than 30 years of experience delivering high-touch event planning, production, and on-site management, along with luxury transportation services supporting corporate meetings, conferences, and special events.

​

He has successfully managed events ranging from intimate gatherings of 10 guests to large-scale productions hosting more than 60,000 attendees.

​

Bill has extensive experience coordinating hotel, air, and ground logistics for VIP clients, including premium transportation services throughout New York City, Philadelphia, Washington, DC, and Boston.

​

His work has taken him to some of the region’s most prestigious venues, including MetLife Stadium, Madison Square Garden, Yankee Stadium, Lincoln Financial Field, the Jacob Javits Center, and leading hotels and nightlife destinations.

​

In addition to corporate event production, Bill has produced live comedy, music, fashion, and visual arts showcases for corporate and commercial audiences.

​

Known for his strong communication and interpersonal skills, Bill has a proven ability to understand client needs and deliver seamless, high-impact event experiences.

​

He is also highly familiar with the major transportation hubs and event resources throughout the Northeast corridor.

​

In addition to his event production work, Bill has partnered with industry professionals to establish PDA and is the owner of DMConnexions, a premium luxury transportation service located near Newark International Airport. Education & Background

​

Bill earned his MBA in Digital Marketing from Rutgers University – Camden, graduating cum laude.  During his studies, he participated in international programs in Portugal and South Africa, gaining valuable global cultural perspectives.

​

He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality, Hotel, and Restaurant Management from the Howard University School of Business.

​

Bill was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey, raised in Willingboro, and is now based in northern New Jersey.

​​

Current & Future Endeavors

​

Bill continues to produce both digital and live corporate meetings and special events.

Outside of event production, he has rekindled a passion for music and is currently five years into relearning the electric guitar.

​

Looking ahead, he is managing his luxury transporation services, plans to return to producing live comedy and music showcases beginning in 2026.
